You are right to promote your dad's fab pic. He's lovely, isn't he.
And I've got a teenager of my own who writes the same as your not-so-sensible friend. Check back a couple of posts on my blog and you'll see what I mean! I'm sooooo proud!
Keep blogging. I sometimes used to click on the Next Blog tab at the top of the page and if I found one I liked, I'ds leave a comment. Invariably they'll link back to you and slowly you can build up a following. It took almost 2 years for me to get any x
